ISET Director to Lead Sessions at NSBP
ISET Director, Dr. Solomon Bililign, and NCAS Director Dr. Vernon Morris will chair three sessions on Earth Planetary Systems Science at the NSBP/NSHP. ISET Distinguished Scientist Dr. Yuh-Lang Lin will give a poster session in collaboration with the other Cooperative Science Centers. Read below for details about the event.
The Joint Annual Conferences of the National Society of Black Physicists and the National Society of Hispanic Physicists, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Southeastern Universities Research Association, will bring together over 600 African American and Hispanic American physics students and professionals. This conference has a cutting-edge scientific program as well as a student professional development program that includes mentor-protégé match-making and a recruiting fair.
The NSBP/NSHP annual conference is the largest gathering of African American and Hispanic American physicists and physics students in the world. The conference thus offer recruiters unparalleled opportunities to interact with and recruit talented students, internship/fellowship candidates, researcher collaborators and other program participants.
